About Aylenora
Aylenora is an independent astrology site offering daily and weekly horoscopes, zodiac sign profiles and a live view of the sky in Turkish, English and Russian. Our goal is to give anyone curious about astrology a transparent, easy-to-read source that is up to date every single day.
How we create our readings
Our readings are not randomly picked texts; they are rebuilt every day from that day's real sky:
- We calculate planetary positions. The positions of the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are computed for 12:00 Turkey time with the open-source Astronomy Engine library (tropical zodiac). The Moon's phase and illumination, the time it changes sign, retrogrades and the next New and Full Moon come from the same calculation.
- We work out the houses for each sign. Using solar houses, we find which house each planet occupies for each sign. For example, with the Moon in Leo, Aries has its 5th house (romance, creativity) activated while Taurus has its 4th (home, family).
- We build the reading from those houses. The Moon's house sets the day's main theme, the advice and the "Health & Energy" note; Venus's house shapes the love reading; Mercury's house the career and money reading; the ruling planet's house the sign's current focus; and the Sun's house the weekly theme. Weekly readings add that week's New/Full Moons, planetary ingresses and the days when the Moon is most harmonious for you.
- A fixed text library, chosen by the sky. Texts prepared in three languages for each house and situation are used; the calculated sky decides which text appears for which sign on which day. That's why two signs get different readings on the same day.
Pages are rebuilt automatically every night. You can see the positions we calculate in the Today's Sky table on the home page.
